STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe there is ONE Lord, ONE faith, and ONE baptism according to Ephesians 4:5.

We believe in the Oneness of God.  He was Father in creation (St. John 1:3), Son in redemption (Galatians 3:3), and the Holy Ghost in the church (St. John 14:26).

We believe that Jesus Christ is God; for in Him, the fullness of God lives in bodily form (Colossians 2:9).  We proclaim LORD JESUS CHRIST is the name given as the ONLY name whereby people in this dispensation of Grace can be saved (Colossians 2:9 and Acts 4:12).

We believe according to Acts 2:38 that God's plan of salvation is through baptism by water and spirit.  Water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.   Through this righteous act, we emulate the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ that, as He rose from the dead, even so we rise from the watery grave to walk in "newness of life" (Romans 6:4).  The baptism of the Holy spirit with the initial evidence of "Speaking in tongues as the spirit of God gives utterance" is absolutely necessary today as it was in the Apostles' day (Acts 2:4).

We believe that God's Word must be proclaimed throughout the whole world according to the great commission (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15).

We believe that those who have accepted God's plan of salvation according to Acts 2:38, and live a holy life pleasing and acceptable to God, await the blessed hope and glorious appearing of the Savior.  On that great day, the dead in Christ shall rise first.  Then, those which are alive and remain will be changed, and caught up together with them in the air.  And they shall forever be with their Savior I Corinthians 15:51-58; I Thessalonians 4:13-18).
